Sniff The Smell Out

I was going through our paper pile in the kitchen - you know, the place where everything gets "filed" as you walk in the door or get the mail, etc. Do you have a pile like that too? 

Anyway, I found a scrap of paper with a quote on it. I wrote it in May, the day before Thomas' 5th birthday. I guess I was making his birthday cupcakes for his preschool class and he was helping me. He spouted this gem and I wrote it down so as not to forget....

"Mommy, I won't sniff anymore because if I sniff (the cake batter) too much I'll take the smell out."

I love that big boy.
